This policy explains how XClock handles information when you visit xclock.app and use its browser-based clock, alarm, timer, and stopwatch.
Using the time tools
You can use XClock without creating an account. Alarm and timer settings are saved in your browser’s local storage so the tools can restore them on that device. You can remove these settings by clearing site data in your browser. Analytics and advertising described below are separate from the tool settings.
Website requests and hosting
When your browser requests a page, it sends technical request information such as your IP address, the requested page, the time of the request, and browser and device details to the site’s hosting infrastructure. The hosting provider may process or retain request and security logs to operate and protect the service. The provider’s log retention settings may change; XClock does not state a fixed retention period here.
Comments
Comments are enabled on article pages and do not require an account. WordPress asks for your name, email address, and comment; a website address is optional. If you submit a comment, WordPress stores the comment and these details with the page, submission time, and technical information such as the IP address and browser user agent for site operation and moderation. Approved comments may be shown publicly. Comments remain until they are removed from the site.
If you select the option to remember your details, WordPress may store comment details in cookies in your browser for a later visit. You can decline that option and clear cookies through your browser.
Contact form
The Contact form asks for your name and email address and provides an optional message field. The form sends a notification to the XClock contact mailbox so we can respond. The installed WPForms Lite form does not save submissions in the WordPress database by itself; copies may remain in the email systems that handle the message. The form’s built-in anti-spam check is enabled. We have not identified a separate third-party CAPTCHA or anti-spam service on the form.
Analytics and advertising
XClock uses Google Analytics to measure visits and interactions, and Google advertising technology may be used to display and measure ads. Depending on the service, configuration, region, and your choices, Google may use cookies or similar identifiers and process information such as pages visited, browser and device details, advertising interactions, IP or network information, and approximate location. Advertising personalization is subject to the applicable consent choices and Google’s settings. Other advertising vendors may receive information when their services are enabled.
Read Google’s Privacy Policy, Google’s advertising technologies information, and how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services.
Cookies and consent choices
Google Privacy & Messaging provides the European consent choices for visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland through its IAB Transparency and Consent Framework message. For visits from these regions, XClock sets Google Analytics storage to denied; accepting the advertising choice does not enable Google Analytics cookies. For supported U.S. state privacy laws, Google Privacy & Messaging provides the applicable privacy-choice message, including a Do Not Sell or Share option where offered. XClock does not show the WPConsent banner. The footer’s “Privacy and cookie settings” control lets visitors revisit the European choices when that message applies. WordPress may also use comment cookies if you choose to remember your comment details. Google Analytics and advertising services may use cookies or similar identifiers according to the applicable consent state and service configuration. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser; doing so may remove saved tool settings or affect site features.
Retention and questions
Comments are kept until removed. Contact messages may be retained in the email systems used to receive and respond to them. Hosting and service providers may retain technical information under their own operational settings. For a privacy question or request, contact us through the Contact page. Do not include sensitive information in a message.
This policy may be updated when the services or site practices change. Nothing on this page is a certification of legal compliance.
